(Posted on Thursday, November 24, 2016)

Source: Mediafax (Bucharest)

The Romanian Government has published the "Government Decision no. 871/2016 on the establishment day of December 2, 2016 as a day off" (Official Gazette, Part I, no. 950) which declares Friday, December 2, 2016, as a one-off bridge public holiday in Romania, to link the annual Romanian public holidays of Saint Andrew's on November 30 and the National Day on December 1st, with the subsequent weekend.

The aforementioned declaration of Friday, December 2, 2016, as a one-off bridge public holiday in Romania, to link the annual Romanian public holidays of November 30 and December 1st, with the weekend, thus amends the lists of public holidays for 2016 in Romania (29-Nov-2015), though only for the Romanian public sector.
