The Consejo de Gobierno de la Junta de Castilla y León has announced its annual list of official regional non-working public holidays in Spain's Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla y León (calendario de fiestas laborales en el ámbito de la Comunidad de Castilla y León) for the calendar year 2017.

In the aforementioned list of official regional public holidays for the calendar year 2017 ("DECRETO 32/2016, de 15 de septiembre, de la Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla y León, por el que se establece el calendario de fiestas laborales en el ámbito de la Comunidad de Castilla y León para el año 2017."), the Consejo de Gobierno de la Junta de Castilla y León has decided to include the Monday that follows the "Año Nuevo" and "Fiesta de la Comunidad Autónoma" annual non-working public holidays of Spain, which, in 2017, will occur on a Sunday.

This means that, as was the case for the past 4 years (2015-09-18, 2014-08-29, 2013-09-19, 2013-09-13 and 2012-09-17), but contrary to previous years (2011-09-02, 2010-09-17), the Saint Joseph's Day holiday on March 19, and the July 25, Santiago Apóstol holidays, will not be regional public holiday in Castilla y León in 2017.
