A group of 20 Tunisian parliamentarians has introduced a bill that would declare December 17 as a new annual non-working public holiday in Tunisia, to mark the regime change of 5 years ago.

Following the aforementioned regime change, which sparked the "Arab Spring", Tunisia had overhauled it list of annual public holidays (15-Dec-2011, 25-May-2011 and 04-Apr-2011).
