Tunisia Mulls December 17 Public Holiday

A group of 20 Tunisian parliamentarians has introduced a bill that would declare December 17 as a new annual non-working public holiday in Tunisia, to mark the regime change of 5 years ago.

Following the aforementioned regime change, which sparked the "Arab Spring", Tunisia had overhauled it list of annual public holidays (2011-12-15, 2011-05-25 and 2011-04-04).
