The government of Tunisia (Présidence du Gouvernement) has announced that the upcoming Aïd El-Idha (Feast of Sacrifice) annual non-working public holidays throughout Tunisia would be observed on Monday and Tuesday, September 12-13, 2016.
The aforementioned announcement of Monday and Tuesday, September 12-13, 2016, as the dates of the upcoming Aïd El-Idha annual non-working public holidays throughout Tunisia, is a day later than the dates set out in last year's (2015-12-13) announcement by the government of Tunisia of its official list of the annual non-working public holidays in Tunisia for the calendar year 2016, and is most likely due to the recent repeat surprise announcement of a change in the date of the upcoming Eid al Adha by Saudi Arabia (2015-09-14).
