The government of Afghanistan has declared Saturday, May 27, 2017, as a non-working public holiday in Afghanistan on the occasion of the upcomingFirst Day of Ramadan non-working public holidays in Afghanistan.

The aforementioned announcement that Saturday, May 27, 2017, had been declared as a non-working public holiday in Afghanistan on the occasion of the upcomingFirst Day of Ramadan, confirms the announcement, earlier this year (2017-01-16), by the government of Afghanistan, of the list of official public holidays in Afghanistan, for the calendar year 2017.
