Faced with a second day of record snowfall tomorrow, the government of Afghanistan has declared Sunday, February 5, 2017, as an official non-working public holiday in Afghanistan.

The aforementioned announcement of Sunday, February 5, 2017, as an official non-working public holiday in Afghanistan, is in addition to the announcement, earlier this year (16-Jan-2017), by the government of Afghanistan, of the list of official public holidays in Afghanistan for the calendar year 2017.
