Bhutan's Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs have declared today, Saturday, March 11, 2017, a government non-working public holiday in Bhutan, due to the "first" snowfall of the winter.
The aforementioned announcement that Saturday, March 11, 2017, had been declared a nationwide non-working public holiday in Bhutan, is in addition to the list of 2017 public holidays in Bhutan, as announced last autumn (2016-10-28), by the Royal Civil Service Commission of the Government of Bhutan in its annual official list of national and regional non-working public holidays in Bhutan for the upcoming calendar year 2017.
