Cambodia's Prime Minister has signed a Cambodian Royal Government's Sub-Decree 6081 on Employee's Public Holidays for 2018 establishing Cambodia's annual list of official non-working public holidays for the upcoming calendar year 2018.

Contrary to what was the case for the past 3 years (2016-11-14, 2015-10-05 and 2014-11-15), but as was previous custom (2013-10-28, 2012-10-23, 2011-10-16, 2010-09-03, 2009-08-25, 2008-09-22 and 2007-08-03), the aforementioned decree does not explicitly specify that "Any public holiday, which falls on Sunday, worker shall be subjected to be one day carried forward to the next day", instead of "Saturday or Sunday".

The aforementioned list of official public holidays for 2018 in Cambodia once again includes the June 1st, "International and Cambodian Children's Day", which was introduced a few years ago (2010-09-03), and it maintains October 23 as a non-working public holiday in Cambodia to commemorate the Paris Peace Agreements of 1991, as well as the new October 15 non-working public holiday, added 5 years ago to mark the death of the King Father (2012-10-23).

The October 23 non-working public holiday in Cambodia had previously been canceled in the mid-2000's (2005-09-15) in order to promote January 7 as National Liberation Day, which marks the toppling of the Khmer Rouge in 1979.
