Costa Rica's Ministry of Labour (Ministerio de Trabajo y Seguridad Social - MTSS) has released the annual list of official non-working public holiday in Costa Rica for the upcoming calendar year 2018.
As was the case in recent years (2016-12-12 and 2015-11-30), the aforementioned list of annual non-working public holiday in Costa Rica, for the upcoming calendar year 2018, is in line with the 2005 Abel Pacheco administration law (2005-03-17) which specified that 4 public holidays would move from mid-week to the following Monday (April 11, July 25, August 15, and October 12), and which has in subsequent years been emptied out of most of its substance (2007-10-05, 2009-06-26, and 2010-10-06).
