Egypt's Central Bank has released its annual list of 2017 bank holidays in Egypt, dates when all Egyptian banks will be closed in the calendar year 2017, corresponding generally to the list of official non-working public holidays in Egypt in 2017.
As usual (2015-12-31 and 2015-01-01), the aforementioned list of 2017 bank holidays in Egypt and Egyptian public holidays in 2017 does not include the common last-minute declaration of one-off bank holidays to compensate annual Egyptian bank holidays that fall on a weekend (2014-04-22, 2013-04-30 and 2012-10-01). The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) is expected to follow the same annual list of 2017 holidays as those set by Egypt's Central Bank.
