Ghana 2017 Eidul-Adha Public Holidays

Ghana's Minister of the Interior, Ambrose Dery, has issued a statement indicating that Friday, September 1, 2017, will be a non-working public holidays in Ghana on the occasion of the 2017 Eidul-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice), and a statutory holiday to be observed as such.

The aforementioned declaration of Friday, September 1, 2017, will be a non-working public holidays in Ghana on the occasion of the 2017 Eidul-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice), is in line with the dates set out in the announcement (2016-12-30) by the government of Ghana of its official list of the annual non-working public holidays for the calendar year 2017.
