Ghana's Minister of the Interior, Ambrose Dery, has issued a statement informing the public that Monday, May 1, 2017, had been declared as the annual non-working public holiday in Ghana, on account of the annual statutory public holiday for May Day in Ghana.

The aforementioned announcement that Monday, May 1, 2017, had been declared as the annual non-working public holiday in Ghana, on account of the annual May Day public holiday of Ghana, is in line with the list of official 2017 non-working public holidays in Ghana, announced late last year (30-Dec-2016) and what happened in previous years (29-Apr-2016).
