Source: Government of Goa (Panaji)
Posted: Thursday, June 8, 2017

The government of the Indian State of Goa has announced that Sunday, June 11, 2017, would be a one-off statewide non-working public holiday on account of the upcoming polling day for the Goa panchayat elections.

The aforementioned announcement that Sunday, June 11, 2017, would be a one-off statewide non-working public holiday on account of the upcoming polling day for the Goa panchayat elections, thus amends the "list of the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Goa for the upcoming calendar year 2017" as released by the Government of Goa last autumn (2016-11-10).
