The government of Kazakhstan has released an amended version of its previously-released annual official list of non-working public holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the month of March 2016.

Late last year (2016-10-17), the government of Kazakhstan released its annual official list of non-working public holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the calendar year 2017, after an earlier draft announcement (2016-05-31), but this was later amended a first time earlier this year (2017-01-18).

The cancellation of the October 25 public holiday, officialized 8 years ago (2009-04-25 and 2009-03-04) is re-confirmed, and the new, May 7, Homeland Defender Day, annual non-working public holiday in Kazakhstan (2012-10-19) is also confirmed.
