The Prime Minister’s Office of the government of Laos has released an amended and extended version of its previously-announced annual official list of non-working public holidays in Laos for the calendar year 2017.
The aforementioned announcement thus amends the list of annual non-working public holidays in Laos for the calendar year 2017, as announced late last year (2016-12-19), and as was the case in many past years (2016-03-31, 2015-04-06, 2012-04-05, 2012-01-17, 2009-04-10 and 2008-04-08), but not all (2013-12-27, 2013-01-28 and 2011-04-09), the aforementioned announcement extends the annual 3-day Pi Mai public holiday for a 4th and 5th day in 2017 for the Lao New Year non-working public holidays in Laos in 2017.
