Libya's government has released its official list of annual non-working public holidays in Libya for the upcoming calendar year 2017.
Once again (2016-01-03, 2014-12-22 and 2013-12-11), the aforementioned announcement of the official list of annual non-working public holidays in Libya for the upcoming calendar year 2017, is in line with the Libyan National Transitional Council overhaul of the official list of national non-working public holidays in Libya, announced early 5 years ago (2012-01-08) and the declaration the previous year that December 24 should be restored as an annual non-working public holiday in Libya, to mark Independence Day, effective immediately (2011-12-22).
