The president of Nauru has once again declared Wednesday, March 8, 2017, as a non-working public holiday in Nauru on the occasion of this year's International Women's Day public holiday of Nauru.
The aforementioned announcement that Wednesday, March 8, 2017, had been declared as a non-working public holiday in Nauru on the occasion of International Women's Day, which is confirmed in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 32 (G.N No. 151 / 2017) amends the list of 2017 public holidays in Nauru as announced late last year by the Government of Nauru (2016-12-18), but is in line with previous years' practice (2014-03-03, 2013-03-01 and 2009-03-02).
