The Cabinet's Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Sudan has declared that Monday, January 1, 2018, would be a public holiday in all parts of the country on the occasion of Sudan National Day.

The aforementioned announcement that Monday, January 1, 2018, would be a public holiday in all parts of the country on the occasion of Sudan National Day, is in line with past year's (12-Feb-2017, 02-Jan-2016, 22-Jan-2015 and 07-Jan-2014) announcements of the list of official non-working national public holidays in the Republic of Sudan, in particular for the calendar year 2017, as the list of official non-working national public holidays in the Republic of Sudan for the calendar year 2018 has not yet been announced.
