The government of Timor Leste has issued a press communiqué containing its annual list of official non-working public holidays in Timor Leste for the calendar year 2017 (Feriadu sira iha tinan 2017).
As usual (2016-01-29, 2015-02-27, 2014-02-05, 2013-01-28, 2011-12-28 and 2010-12-30), the aforementioned announcement of the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Timor Leste for the calendar year 2017 (Loron feriadu ho data fiksa no variável ne'ebé determina tiha ona tuir Lei n.o 10/2005, fulan agostu, ba tinan 2017 mak hanesan tuir mai ne'e), follows the precepts of law No.10/2005, which overhauled Timor Leste's public holidays (2005-08-12), including last year's amendments to the legislation governing non-working public holidays in Timor Leste (2016-05-28).
