Ukraine's Central Bank, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), has announced an amendment to the official list of 2017 non-working bank holidays in the Ukraine in 2017, as previously-released, by declaring Monday, December 25, 2017, as a new bank holiday in the Ukraine.

Ukraine's Central Bank, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), has announced the official list of 2017 non-working bank holidays in the Ukraine, as well as the postponement of some working days in 2017.

The aforementioned announcement of Monday, December 25, 2017, as a new bank holiday in the Ukraine ("Monday, December 25, 2017 is a non-working day for the banking system of Ukraine"), thus amends the official list of 2017 non-working bank holidays in the Ukraine in 2017, released earlier this year (2017-01-01), based on the "Cabinet Disposition of November 15, 2016" of the Government of the Ukraine (2016-11-15), which specified the list of official non-working public holidays in 2017, but was recently amended when the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukraine passed the bill No.5496 which made December 25 a new official non-working holiday in Ukraine and canceled the annual Ukrainian public holiday of May 2 (2017-02-10, 2017-11-16, 2017-03-28 and 2017-01-31).
