Uttarakhand Declares Chhath Public Holiday

The State Government of India's state of Uttarakhand has issued a notification declaring Chhath Puja as a non-working public holiday in India's state of Uttarakhand, on Thursday, October 26, 2017.

The aforementioned announcement Chhath Puja as a non-working public holiday in India's state of Uttarakhand, on Thursday, October 26, 2017, thus amends the previously-released list by the Government of Uttarakhand, covering Government Holidays and Restricted Holidays in India's state of Uttarakhand for the upcoming calendar year 2017 (2016-11-13).

Yesterday (2017-10-24), the Government of India's Delhi NCT (National Capital Territory) had also announced the gazetted declaration of Thursday, October 26, 2017, as a one-off non-working public holiday in India's Delhi NCT on the occasion of the Chhath Puja.
