The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyayev, has signed a decree "On the establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and shifting of day-offs of 2018" which lists all official public holidays in Uzbekistan for the upcoming calendar year 2018.
Contrary to the aforementioned announcement of the list of all the official public holidays in Uzbekistan for the upcoming calendar year 2018, in the past, announcements of public holidays, as well as bridge public holidays in Uzbekistan were made on a case-by-case basis (2017-08-24, 2017-06-24, 2017-05-02, 2017-03-16, 2016-12-29, 2016-08-26, 2016-02-12,...).
