The Venezuelan regulatory body for the banking sector, Sudeban (Superintendencia de Instituciones del Sector Bancario) has announced that Monday, May 29, 2017, would be another bank holiday in Venezuela, on account of the annual "Día de Corpus Christi" ("fiesta del Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo") annual bank holiday of Venezuela.
As usual (2016-05-27, 2016-01-08, 2015-12-03, 2015-06-26 and 2015-05-16), the aforementioned Monday, May 29, 2017, bank holiday in Venezuela, on account of the annual "Día de Corpus Christi" bank holiday in Venezuela, is in line with the official list of the dates for the 2017 public holidays and banking holidays in Venezuela as announced late last year by the Sudeban (2016-06-19) in conformity with the "Ley de Reforma Parcial de la Ley de Instituciones del Sector Bancario".
