The Algerian public sector ministry (Direction Générale de la Fonction Publique), upon the advice of the Algerian Commission nationale de l'observation du croissant lunaire, has announced that tomorrow, Friday, June 15, 2018, would be the first day of the non-working public sector holiday in Algeria on account of the annual "Aïd el-Fitr" (End of Ramadan) annual non-working public holidays of Algeria.
The aforementioned communique ("La Commission nationale de l'observation du croissant lunaire a annoncé jeudi soir que la fête de l'Aïd el-Fitr sera célébrée vendredi en Algérie, après l'observation du croissant lunaire marquant le début du mois de choual") follows the framework of past years (2017-11-29, 2017-09-27, 2016-12-08, 2015-12-15 and 2014-12-29).
