The Armenian government has announced that the recently-declared one-off public holidays on Thursday and Friday, October 11 and 12, 2018, on account of the upcoming Francophonie Summit would be compensated by declaring, as regular working days, Saturday, October 27, and Saturday, November 3, 2018.
Last week (2018-10-05), at an extraordinary sitting, the Armenian National Assembly approved, by a vote of 62-0 and one abstention, amendments to the Law on Holidays and Memory Days, declaring Thursday and Friday, October 11 and 12, 2018, as one-off non-working public holidays in Armenia on account of the upcoming Francophonie Summit.
