Armenian Public Holiday May 8

The leader of the Armenia's opposition, Nikol Pashinyan, slated to be nominated as Prime Minister, tomorrow, has announced that he would immediately declare Tuesday, May 8, 2018, as a one-off non-working public holiday throughout Armenia.

Contrary to previous declarations of one-off non-working public holidays in Armenia (2018-04-12, 2018-04-12, 2018-03-05, 2018-01-25, 2017-08-16, 2017-04-20, 2017-04-04, 2016-09-03, 2016-03-17, 2016-02-19, 2015-09-10, 2015-07-11, 2015-04-13, 2014-12-02, 2014-01-12, 2013-11-22, 2013-05-15, 2013-05-02, 2012-06-23, 2012-04-18, 2012-02-22, 2011-02-24 and 2010-09-10), no other day will be declared a regular working day in Armenia, thus amending the list of 2018 public holidays in Armenia (2018-01-15).
