The Chief Minister's Office of Australia's Capital Territory (ACT) has released an amended list of the official non-working public holidays to be observed in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) of Australia, during the calendar year 2019.

A year ago (2017-02-05), The Chief Minister's Office of Australia's Capital Territory (ACT) had released a list of the official non-working public holidays to be observed in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) of Australia, during the calendar years 2018 and 2019.

These were then first amended (2017-02-28), due to the method of determining the date of the Family and Community Day public holiday (2007-07-30) which had been modified 6 years before (2009-10-16), thus affecting the list of the official non-working public holidays to be observed in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) of Australia, during the calendar year 2018, once again (2015-12-07 and 2015-01-21) deviates from that rule, based on the rule "the first Monday in the September/October school holidays".

These were changed again when the Family and Community Day public holiday was replaced with a new "Reconciliation Day" ACT public holiday, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1967 referendum whose result led to amendments to the Australian constitution to include Aboriginal people in the census and make them subject to Commonwealth law (2017-09-13, 2017-08-172016-08-28 and 2016-06-08).
