The government of Benin has released a communiqué signed by Benin's Ministry of Labour's, on behalf of the Ministre Du Travail et de La Fonction Publique, Mathys Adidjatou, announcing that Friday, June 15, 2018, had been declared as a non-working public holiday throughout Bénin on account of the upcoming End of Ramadan (Aïd El-Fitr) annual non-working public holidays in the Bénin.

The aforementioned declaration of Friday, June 15, 2018, had been declared as a non-working public holiday throughout Bénin on account of the upcoming End of Ramadan annual non-working public holidays in the Bénin ("conformément aux dispositions de la loi N°90-019 du 27 juillet 1990, la journée du vendredi 15 juin 2018 est déclarée fériée, chômée et payée sur toute l’étendue du territoire national."), is in line with the previously-announced list of annual non-working public holidays in the Benin for the calendar year 2018, as announced by the government of Benin, earlier this year (2018-01-24), as well as with the "loi n°90-019 du 27 juillet 1990 fixant les fêtes légales en République du Bénin".
