Bolivia's Minister of Labour has issued a communiqué which confirms that the upcoming Año Nuevo Aimara annual non-working public holiday of Bolivia would be observed on Thursday, June 21, 2018, in all sectors of the Bolivian economy.
As per the aforementioned announcement ("este feriado se dispuso mediante el Decreto Supremo No. 2750 de 1 de mayo de 2016; que declaró además, la suspensión de actividades públicas y privadas en todo el territorio del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia"), in line with the "Decreto Supremo 2750 del 1 de mayo de 2016", this public holiday will be a non-working public holiday for both the public and private sectors.
The Aymara New Year (Día del Año Nuevo Andino Amazónico), which became a non-working public holiday in Bolivia, a decade ago (18-Jun-2009 and 17-Jun-2009).
