Bolivia's Minister of Labour has issued a communiqué which confirms that the upcoming Corpus Christi annual non-working public holiday of Bolivia would be observed on Thursday, May 31, 2018, in all sectors of the Bolivian economy.

As per the aforementioned announcement ("De acuerdo a lo dispuesto por el Decreto Supremo 2750 de 1 de mayo de 2016, el día jueves 31 de mayo del presente año, se constituye en Feriado Nacional de Corpus Christi, declarándose suspensión de actividades públicas y privadas en todo el territorio del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia"), in line with the "Decreto Supremo 2750 del 1 de mayo de 2016", this public holiday will be a non-working public holiday for both the public and private sectors. The Bolivian Corpus Christi annual public holiday has been rumored to be on the way out in the past (08-Apr-2009 and 06-Jun-2007), but keeps on being reaffirmed every year (25-May-2016, 02-Jun-2015, 17-Jun-2014, 29-May-2013, 05-Jun-2012, 06-Jun-2011, 29-Jan-2010 and 09-Jun-2009).
