The President of Cameroon, Paul Biya, has signed a decree declaring Monday, April 30, 2018, as a bridge non-working public holiday (feriée chômée sur toute l'étendue du territoire de la république du Cameroun) to link the annual upcoming, May 1, non-working public holiday of Cameroon to the preceding weekend.

The aforementioned declaration of Monday, April 30, 2018, as a bridge non-working public holiday (feriée chômée sur toute l'étendue du territoire de la république du Cameroun) to link the annual upcoming, May 1st, non-working public holiday of Cameroon to the preceding weekend, is in addition to the list of official non-working public holidays in Cameroon for the calendar year 2018, as released by the government of Cameroon, earlier this year (08-Jan-2018).
