The Office of the President of the Gambia, Adama Barrow, has announced that he had declared December 25, and December 26, 2018, as non-working public holidays throughout the Gambia.

The aforementioned announcement that December 25, and December 26, 2018, had been declared as a public holidays throughout the Gambia to commemorate Christmas and the New Year, is in line with what happened last year (22-Dec-2017) and the year before, when December 26 was declared a public holiday in the Gambia, for the first time.
