The Office of the President of the Gambia has announced that Gambian President, Adama Barrow, has declared Thursday and Friday, April 12 and 13, 2018, as non-working public holidays throughout the Republic of The Gambia, on account of the upcoming general elections.

The aforementioned declaration of Thursday and Friday, April 12 and 13, 2018, as non-working public holidays throughout the Republic of The Gambia, is in line with past electoral public holidays declarations (2012-01-17, 2011-11-24, 2011-11-21, 2008-01-24, 2006-12-18, 2006-12-01).
