Ghana's Minister for the Interior, Ambrose Dery, has announced that Friday, June 15, 2018, had been declared as the date of the upcoming 2018 annual Eid-Ul-Fitr (End of Ramadan) non-working public holidays in Ghana.
The aforementioned declaration of Friday, June 15, 2018, as the date of the upcoming 2018 annual Eid-Ul-Fitr (End of Ramadan) non-working public holidays in Ghana ("in respect of the Eidul-Fitr celebration, Friday should be observed as a holiday throughout the country"), is in line with past announcements (2017-06-19, 2016-06-30, 2015-07-17, 2015-07-13, 2014-07-21, 2013-08-05, 2012-08-16, 2011-08-26,2008-09-25,2007-12-15, 2010-09-07, 2009-09-15, 2008-12-03 and 2007-10-10) and with the list of official 2018 non-working public holidays in Ghana, announced at the end of last year (2017-12-30).
