The States of Guernsey (the Guernsey Government) has published its official list of annual non-working public holidays in Guernsey, for the calendar year 2019.

The Guernsey list of official public holidays is extended at irregular intervals, with the 2012-2013 Guernsey public holidays announced eight years ago (2010-04-08), the 2014 Guernsey public holidays announced less than a year later (2011-03-02), the 2015-2016 public holidays in Guernsey announced 4 years ago (2014-07-20) the 2017 Guernsey public holidays announced 2 years ago (2016-08-20), and the 2018 Guernsey public holidays announced last spring (2017-03-19).

As per the aforementioned announcement, based on customary law and "The Public Holidays Ordinance, 2009", the announced dates of non-working public holidays in Guernsey, for the calendar year 2019, apply to the islands of Guernsey, Herm and Jethou, with the island of Alderney observing one specific public holiday, and observing the Summer Bank Holiday on a different date than the islands of Guernsey, Herm and Jethou.
