The Government of India's state of Tamil Nadu has declared a one-off non-working public holiday on Monday, November 5, 2018, the day before the upcoming annual Diwali/Deepavali non-working public holiday of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
The aforementioned announcement that India's state of Tamil Nadu had declared a one-off non-working public holiday on Monday, November 5, 2018, thus further amends (07-Aug-2018 and 14-Jun-2018) the "G.O.Ms.No.937, Dated the 7th November 2017", listing the dates that are "in addition to Sundays expressly defined as Public Holidays" in India's state of Tamil Nadu, as released last autumn (08-Nov-2017).
Note that, in compensation, Saturday, November 10, 2018, has been declared as a regular working day in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
