Indian Andhra Pradesh Sri Rama Navami Public Holiday Moved

The Government of India's State of Andhra Pradesh has issued the Government Order amendment No. 679, 680 of 23.03.2018 ("Notification in partial modification of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.2437, General Administration (Poll.B) Department, Dt:31.10.2017"), which amends the terms of the extra-ordinary Gazette announcement of the days which shall be non-working public holidays for the calendar year 2018, by moving the upcoming "Sri Rama Navami" public holiday in India's State of Andhra Pradesh, from Sunday, March 25, to Monday, March 26, 2018.

The aforementioned Government Order amendment No. 679, 680 of 23.03.2018, states that "The Government hereby declare 26-03-2018 (MONDAY) as General Holiday on the occasion of SRI RAMA NAVAMI instead of 25-03-2018 (SUNDAY).", thus amending the list of 2018 public holidays in India's State of Andhra Pradesh as announced in the extra-ordinary Gazette (G.O.RT.No. 2437), last autumn (2017-11-01).
