The State Government of India's state of West Bengal has issued a notification declaring a public holiday in India's state of West Bengal on account of three-phase panchayat polls, on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.

The aforementioned announcement of a public holiday in India's state of West Bengal on account of three-phase panchayat polls, on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, thus amends the previously-released list of West Bengal non-working public holidays for the calendar year 2018 (2017-09-22).
