Malaysia's Perak Pakatan Harapan coalition has announced that it would declare Thursday and Friday, May 10-11, 2018, as non-working public holidays in Malaysia, if they win the upcoming, May 9, general elections.
The aforementioned announcement that the Perak Pakatan Harapan coalition would declare Thursday and Friday, May 10-11, 2018, as non-working public holidays in Malaysia, if they win the upcoming general elections, was made by State PH chairman, Ahmad Faizal Azumu, and follows the announcement by Malaysia's Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, has announced that the government of Malaysia had decided to declare Wednesday, May 9, 2018, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Malaysia on account of the upcoming general elections (2018-04-11), thus amending the "Jadual Hari Kelepasan Am Persekutuan 2018" (Federal Public Holidays Schedule 2018), released last summer (2017-08-01).
