A spokesperson for the Ministry of General Administration of the government of Nepal has announced that the government of Nepal had declared Thursday, January 11, 2018, as a non-working public holidays on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the unifier of modern Nepal, Prithvi Narayan Shah.
The aforementioned announcement of the declaration of Thursday to Thursday, January 11, 2018, as a non-working public holidays on the occasion of Prithvi Jayanti, is in line with the gazetted list of official non-working public holidays in Nepal for the Nepalese year 2074 (mid-April 2017 to mid-April 2018), released earlier this year (2017-03-25) and later amended (2017-11-30).
