The North Korean government has released its annual list of official non-working public holidays in North Korea for the upcoming calendar year 2019.

As usual, the aforementioned announcement of the list of non-working public holidays in North Korea for the upcoming calendar year 2019 is closely watched for the apparition of a new annual non-working public holiday on January 8th (2017-11-28, 2016-11-07, 2015-12-07, 2015-01-06, 2014-11-29, 2014-01-08, 2013-12-31, 2013-01-08, 2010-12-23, 2010-01-07, and 2010-01-06), but to no avail yet.

This year's announcement of the list of official non-working public holidays in North Korea for the upcoming calendar year 2019 does clarify the status of many dates as working or non-working.
