Saipan 2019 Public Holidays Released

Source: The CNMI Civil Service Commission and Office of Personnel Management (CNMIOPM)
Posted: Thursday, September 6, 2018

The Governor of Saipan (CNMI), Ralph Torres, has released the list of official annual non-working public holidays in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (aka. CNMI or Saipan), for the upcoming calendar year 2019 ("Pursuant to 1 CMC § 311, as amended by CNMI Public Law 15-4, the following legal holidays are observed in the Commonwealth").

In addition to the aforementioned announcement of the list of official annual non-working public holidays in the CNMI, for the upcoming calendar year 2019, it is always possible that one-off non-working public holidays will be declared at a later date as has happened in the past (2014-11-20, 2010-11-01 and 2009-11-18), though the practice has become much rarer in recent years (2017-11-02).
