The Permanent Secretary in Uganda's Ministry of Information and Communications Technology, Catherine Bitarakwate Musingwiire, has announced that the government of Uganda had declared Tuesday, August 21, 2018, as the date of the upcoming Eid Adhuha (Feast of Sacrifice) annual non-working public holiday in Uganda.
The aforementioned announcement ("The Honorable Minister of Public Service informs the general public that Tuesday 21th August is Eid Adhuha and has been declared a public holiday for the whole nation") follows the Saudi Umm al-Qura calendar, which Ugandan public holidays sometimes follow (2017-08-28, 2016-09-06, 2015-07-16, 2014-10-02, 2013-10-04, 2012-10-18 and 2009-11-24), but not systematically (2008-12-06).
