The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyayev, has issued his annual resolution "On celebration of Ramadan Hayit" which declares 3 days of non-working public holidays in Uzbekistan for the upcoming Ramazan Hayit (End of Ramadan).

As per the aforementioned decree, "Given the role and significance of the holy feasts of Kurban Hayit and Ramazan Hayit in establishing in the spiritual life of our people such noble qualities as thanksgiving, kindness and mercy, unity, in order to preserve and elevate national and spiritual values, starting from 2018, three continuous rest days due to the postponement of certain days off for the working days closest to the holidays".

This is in line with the decree "On the establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and shifting of day-offs of 2018" which listed all official public holidays in Uzbekistan for the upcoming calendar year 2018, and was released late last year by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyayev (28-Dec-2017).
