The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyayev, has signed a decree "On the establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and the transfer of weekends to 2019" which lists all official public holidays in Uzbekistan for the upcoming calendar year 2019, both the annual public holidays of Uzbekistan and the one-off public holidays for 2019.

Until last year (2017-12-28), announcements of public holidays, as well as bridge public holidays in Uzbekistan, were made on a case-by-case basis (2017-08-24, 2017-06-24, 2017-05-02, 2017-03-16, 2016-12-29, 2016-08-26, 2016-02-12,...).

Today's decree "On the establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and the transfer of weekends to 2019", may yet be amended on the occasion of Muslim public holidays, as was the case in the past (2018-08-16, 2018-08-14, 2018-06-10).
