The Government of Canada's Province of British Columbia has updated its official multi-year list of public holidays in British Columbia by announcing the non-working public holidays in BC for the calendar years 2020-2021.

After a few years when the Family Day BC public holiday (2012-05-29) was observed on the second Monday of February (2015-05-30, 2014-01-16 and 2013-06-05), following the social media campaign of 3 years ago, a petition launched in 2015 caused the BC Government to change the date of the annual Family Day non-working public holiday back to the third Monday in February (2018-02-09), effective in 2019 (2018-05-11).
