Egyptian Prophet Birthday Public Holiday November 9

The Egyptian Minister of Manpower, Mohamed Saafan, has issued a decree declaring Saturday, November 9, 2019, as a non-working official public holiday in Egypt for both the public sector and the private sector on account of the upcoming Moulid al-Nabi (Prophet Mohamed’s birthday) annual non-working public holiday of Egypt ("Next Saturday will be a day off for the private sector in Egypt to mark the Moulid El-Nabi celebration as well as for the governmental sector").

The aforementioned announcement of Saturday, November 9, 2019, as a non-working official public holiday in Egypt on account of the upcoming Moulid al-Nabi (Prophet Mohamed’s birthday), is in addition to the annual list of 2019 bank holidays in Egypt, released earlier this year by (2019-01-16).
