The Government of Estonia (Vabariigi Valitsus) has announced its annual official list of Estonian national holidays, Estonian flag days, and non-working public holidays in Estonia for the calendar year 2020.
The aforementioned announcement of the official list of Estonian national holidays, Estonian flag days, and non-working public holidays in Estonia for the calendar year 2020, once again (2018-12-02, 2017-11-28, 2016-12-11, 2016-01-09, 2015-01-06, 2014-01-03 and 2013-01-06), makes no mention of various bills (2012-01-23 and 2011-05-17), to add Russian Orthodox Christmas as a new annual non-working public holiday in Estonia and to make Easter Monday a non-working public holiday in Estonia.
The last time the list of Estonian non-working public holidays (1998-01-27) was modified was in 2005, when Estonia's parliament approved the Public and National Holidays Act, § 2 and § Work and Rest Law Amendment Act 25 (RT I 2005, 24, 185) which declared December 24 as a new annual public holiday (2005-04-15).
