The Ethiopian Government has declared a one-off non-working public holiday in Ethiopia on Monday, July 29, 2019, on account of the tree-planting that will occur on that date as part of the Green Legacy Initiative.

The aforementioned announcement of a one-off non-working public holiday in Ethiopia on Monday, July 29, 2019, on account of the Green Legacy Initiative, thus amends the list of non-working public holidays in Ethiopia in 2019, as announced, earlier this year (2019-01-18), by the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
