The Government of India's state of Gujarat has announced its annual list of the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Gujarat for the upcoming calendar year 2020 in the Government of Gujarat Government Order No. GS/30/2019/PHD/l 02019/1111/GH ("The Government of Gujarat is pleased to declare the following days to be Public Holidays for State Government Offices during the year 2020").
As per custom (2018-11-07, 2017-10-19 and 2016-12-14), the aforementioned notification of the annual list of the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Gujarat for the upcoming calendar year 2020, are contained in 3 documents: the days to be Public Holidays for State Government Offices during the year 2020, including the days which have not been notified as General Holiday as they fall on Sunday (4 of them in 2020), the Optional Holidays recognized by Government of Gujarat for the year 2020 in addition to those notified as Public Holidays, and the days to be Public Holidays for banks in Gujarat during the year 2020, and issued in the name of the Governor of Gujarat.
